Paintings and mixed media art made with natural bees wax and rare earth pigments.
The unique cards are painted with a small craft iron and pigmented bees wax. Every painting turns out different and often I am not sure what it will be until it’s almost done. Bees wax has a mind of its own so it is an art of losing control!
These paintings are also made with layers bees wax that are fused together using a heat gun or small torch. Some have other mixed media elements such as oil paint, alcohol ink, India ink, photo transfers, stamps etc.
